It is no secret that Oprah will be visiting Australia in December and she will host and record 2 episodes for her show while she is in Sydney! Because of this, Sydney is a buzz and it seems plenty of people are trying to come visit just so they have a chance at seeing Oprah.
Sydney is a beautiful city that is known all over the world for the fantastic people you can meet, the great sights that are to be seen, the wicked nightlife or the fantastic food! Australia is 1 country that is famous for having easy going people, so famous in fact its one of our trade marks! Australia has literally hundreds of different sights that will intrigue and interest any avid traveler! Sights that are worth looking into would be the;
Sydney Opera House: This is where Oprah will record her shot. The Opera in Sydney is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Its fame is due to a number of factors which include the shape and design of the building, no where else in the world can you see a sight such as the Opra House. There is also the Sydney Harbor Bridge, one of the largest and most recognizable bridges in the world. Currently people can pay to climb the bridge, or you are able to drive or train over it. If you are not interested in Sydney, that’s perfectly fine because there are plenty of other states to see! Queensland is a fantastic option for families looking for a trip to Aussie Land! QLD is the only state in Australia that has theme parks worth visiting. Dreamworld is one of the best theme parks in the world, and matches many that can be found in Japan or America. Warner Brothers have also opened a Movie World on the Gold Coast, and there are a number of great water parks that are plenty of fun over the Summer!
Another great land mark that many people would be interested to see would be Uluru, the largest rock in the world! Its sits in the dead center of Australia, and is considered very sacred to the Aboriginal people. Australia has a number of great beach’s that are popular among tourists and locals! Australia also has an excellent Life Saver Service, making a trip to the beach far safer then in most other countries!
