Australia is not a country that is known for its Theme and Ride Park’s, but this does not mean we do not have some of the most thrilling, exciting and enduring  them parks the world has to offer! Aussie’s from all over Australia travel to Sydney and Queensland to experience the fun vibrant theme parks, the rides, the shows and so much more!

Movie World – Queensland Gold Coast, Australia

Movie World on The Gold Coast was opened in 1991 and is officially known as “Warner Brothers Movie World” although it is owned by Roadshow – it boasts varies rides and attractions to thrill and entertain people of ages and walks of life! From the regular parades that march down the street, the police academy show or the batman ride!

Movie Wold was designed by C. V. Wood, who is the mastermind behind 6 Flags Above Texas and Universal Studios! Some of the most exciting rides and attractions at Movie World are,

Dreamworld – Queensland Gold Coast, Australia

Australia Deals can advise that Dreamworld is one of the oldest, largest and most love theme parks in Australia, not only for the fantastic rides but also for the wonderful staff, the friendly atmosphere and the fact everyone is having such a fantastic time! Dreamworld is made in sections, to try to make it a little easier for tourists to understand. The sections are called Ocean Parade, Nick Central, Wiggles World, Gold Rush Country, Rocky Hollow, Tiger Island and the Australian Wildlife Experience!

Wet N Wild – Queensland Gold Coast, Australia

Wet N Wild is one of the oldest theme parks in Australia, opened in 1984 and originally named Cade’s Country, then Cade’s Wet N Wild & then simply to Wet N Wild – it is a theme park that has a major focus on water slides, pools, wave pools and anything to do with water! Costing 20 Million to design and build when it first opened, its easy to see and understand why this is a major attraction during summer, although it can get a little slower during winter (Even with high temps in winter).

WhiteWater World – Queensland Gold Coast, Australia

One of the newest theme parks in Australia, opening in 2006 – WhiteWater World is probably the best for Water Based Theme Parks that Australia has to offer! WhiteWater World is owned by the same company that runs Dreamworld, it is also considered DreamWorlds Water Addition. WhiteWater World boats some of the most exciting and thrilling water based rides the world has to offer! Some of the most popular rides are.

  • The Rip
  • The Shak
  • Supertubes Hydrocoaster
  • The Temple Of Huey

Lunar Park – Sydney, Milsons Points – Australia

Lunar Park is the oldest, one of the most famous theme parks in Australia, Lunar Park sadly also has the rockiest histroy with many closures, tragedy’s and much more! The Park was originally constructed in 1935, post World War – it ran as a major attraction untill 1979 when a fire ripped through the infamous ghost train killing 6 children and 1 adult. – The park was mostly demolished, rebuild and then reopened under a new name (later obtaining its original name back).

Lunar Park is not a place for major thrill rides, but a family attraction, a fun day out and something different after a day in the city! Lunar Parks most popular attractions would be -
